Pair-Light Green-Light
Double the Legs, Double the Trouble #
Players are paired up with one leg tied to their partner’s, three-legged race style. The game proceeds with traditional Red Light, Green Light rules, only now, the key to winning is synchronized coordination!
How to Play #
Players are split into teams (usually pairs) and tied together at the legs. One leader (the “caller”) stands at the end of the field and shouts “Green Light” to let players move and “Red Light” to make them freeze. Any team that continues moving after “Red Light” is called must return to the start. The first team to reach and tag the caller wins.
Variations
Three-Legged Teams of Three: Instead of pairs, tie three players together side by side using two ropes. This increases the difficulty and forces tighter coordination between teammates.
Rules #
Group Setup: Teams are made up of two or three players tied at the legs depending on the chosen format.
Movement Only on Green: Teams may move forward only when “Green Light” is called.
Freeze on Red: Any movement after “Red Light” is called sends the team back to the start.
No Jumping or Pulling: Players must move in sync; dragging teammates is not allowed.
Winning Condition: The first team to reach the caller and touch them wins the round.
